A bit about Bruce and Michael:

Bruce King
An eclectic mix of contemporary blues and folk - Influenced by Dan Hicks, John Hammond, Bob Dylan, and Phil Ochs. He also performs many tunes penned by local artists. He’s performed with Evelyn Harris, Eva Cappelli, Eric Lee, and Peggy Seeger, and is currently working on a CD of tunes written exclusively  by Massachusetts songwriters. On Wednesday nights, you can find him co-hosting the Open Mic at PACE in Easthampton.

Michael Orlen
A singer songwriter with roots in the Boston music scene of the late sixties and early seventies, a frequent performer at legendary Boston venues including the Sword in the Stone and Turk’s Head. He performed alone and as a member of folk pop duo “Orlen and Gabriel”, as well as the popular seventies acoustic rock trio “Home Free”.  His songs are confident expressions of optimism with a dose of irony thrown in. He also draws on an extensive knowledge of twentieth century folk, blues, and ragtime music to choose songs that resonate in today’s world.
